Scene Breakdown

 
I was hired on to this episode to play a restaurant patron in a breakfast scene, but they overbooked a little so I was actually never used. This happens quite often, and there’s not much that you can do about it. It’s disappointing, but it comes with the territory of being an extra. At least I still get paid :) I can’t say much about the scene because I was not in it, but it was filmed in Dixie Grill on Market St. in downtown Wilmington (Scene 1.) A fun fact about the scene is that, Dixie Grill is actually a luncheon restaurant so to film a breakfast scene they had to deliver food from what I was told to be IHOP. On the same day, they had a followup scene in downtown Wilmington filmed at Circa 1922 on N. Front Street (Scene 2.) It was a formal dinner scene, so you could only be in one scene or the other.
